Nation: North Ireland
Name: Erin Kirkland O'Connor
Vault of Origin: 13
Age: 33
DoB December 7th
Sex: Female
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 99 lbs.
Appearance: Short red headed girl with millions of freckles, all scattered across her body. She has a beautiful pair of green eyes. Her choice of clothing resembles that of a cowgirl while shes travels. Flannel shirt, ripped and worn jeans, with patchwork chaps, and a very old cowboy hat. But when she is relaxing at home, Erin will wear the dresses and other cute clothes her family makes or throws together.
Nill and Badou from DOGS
Caravan: No permanent group. Erin and brother will travel with any caravan willing to tolerate the twins and their dogs-who are well enough behaved. The twins are even willing to travel off on their own-without a caravan-to reach their destination. They travel from town to town selling off their prized breeds to any worthy customer who can pay their price. Only returning home to restock supplies or rest.
Position in Caravan: Erin prepares and cooks the food that Conner and the Dogs bring back from a hunt.
Town:O'Connor Kennel and Breeding. Within the Montana area, their rather large family-which can be considered its own little clan or town even-made their own settlement and ranch. Which is where the puppy farm is located.
Job: Hunting dog breeder and trainer. She sells the dogs that her mother breeds and trains.
Pet:Gilroy is Erin's personal companion dog. Its one of the Irish Wolfhounds that was born and raised on the ranch. Its fur coat is a similar shade of red as Erin's own head of hair. Its twin, Flann, can also be considered Erin's, since it listens to her more so than it's true owner, Conner. But Erin's first pick will always be Gilroy. These dogs are the twin's second companion dogs, following them along on their travels. Before Gilroy, Erin had a steel gray wolfhound named Glover. He is too old now to be traveling so far, and has been retired. Note: It is not uncommon for Erin to hitch Gilroy(or back in the day, Glover) up to either a cart, or even a makeshift saddle so she can ride it. No seriously, these things are huge, and she is that tiny. It works...
Personality: Much like a small dog or pup, she is loud and feisty to any she has reason to distrust. If she really doesn't like whats going on, she will make her opinion known, and wont be afraid to snap at anyone-her mother being the only exception. That woman is scary when angry. But its fairly easy to get on her good side. If male, just be polite and dont remind her of her father. If female, there's actually nothing you really have to worry about unless you make moves on her brother or mistreat the dogs. Especially Gilroy.
Strengths and Weaknesses:Good strong kick and nice swing. Though her height and short reach poses a problem in a real fight-compared to her sneak attacks with a golf club. Her temper has gotten her into quite a bit of trouble; Whether it be cussing, fighting, or just running off on her own. She also has a talent for lock picking and stealing. Lastly, she has a high tolerance to alcohol, for one being so small. But ends up drunk anyways because of how much she drinks.
Equipment/Weapons: Battered golf club. Lock pick set. Canteen. Emergency smokes-for Conner, which can be a weapon... depending who is attacking and how she uses it.
History: Erin was born inside a vault seven years after the bombs were dropped, living with her twin and their dozens of cousins too young to brave the wastes. They all stayed inside with the twin's mother and her prized breeding hounds while the rest of the family started to rebuild the outside world. When the twins reached the age of five, the large family decided moved out west and build a new home far away from the vault. From there Mother established their new home, a rather large and spacious ranch, as a puppy farm. Breeding her hounds, and training them in how to hunt. At first many came by to trade for a dog or two. As time went on, not everyone was up for traveling so far for just a dog. When Erin finally became old enough, she began to help out with her mother's business with exercising the dogs. Even taking them on long trips from home. It wasn't long until even Conner, her twin, helped out. Though Erin suspects it was more likely he was making sure she wouldn't be kidnapped or worse. His eye was a key reminder-when she remembered its existence- of the dangers of their world.
Erin actually enjoys wandering a lot more than she lets on. Seeing the varying faces of the caravans and towns was exciting and refreshing compared to the same old noisy family she grew up with-which is still growing in numbers. The journey from the vault to their new home has left a great impression on her to travel and see what was left of her mother's precious world. Not to mention seek out her possibly siblings and absent father figure.
When Erin started her traveling, to trade matured dogs, she tried asking her mother for the name of her father. But was denied instantly. She didn't want her daughter to know a man who would ditch his lover and children the second responsibility called. However, that conversation didn't convince her to give up. The rest of the adults all share the same bad opinion of the man; calling him a dead beat, whore, sperm donor, player, and so on. Most dont know where he disappeared to, or even how he got into the vault to begin with. He just showed up one day, daring to woo her mother's maiden heart. But it seemed as soon as her mother was expecting the twins, he was gone. The only proof of the man's existence was the woman's swelling belly.
Erin swore that one of these days she'll go take a peek into her mother's things. Search for a photograph, diary entry, anything. Hopefully find a name or description-of his face preferably- of her father.
Don't misunderstand. All of this is not for a touching reunion with the man. But to beat his ass the second she's sure its him. Getting even with him for everything he has done, and everything he didn't do. As for her possible siblings, she hasn't really thought about anything past the “We're related! YAY!”...
